ABOUT STAINED
STAINED is a bespoke wearable art studio that transforms pre-loved garments and textiles into unique, hand-painted artworks. Every piece begins with a material that already carries a story — whether denim, cotton, or other worn canvas — and evolves through hand-painting, gesture, and intention.
Each work is commissioned through meaningful dialogue. You choose the idea, theme, or inspiration, and STAINED responds with an intuitive, one-of-a-kind interpretation. Nothing is repeated, and nothing is produced on a mass scale.
Beyond individual commissions, STAINED also collaborates with creative individuals and organisations on themed projects, allowing broader cultural and narrative exploration through wearable art.
Whether it begins as denim jacket, a cotton hoodie, a linen coat , or another beloved garment, every piece is treated as a canvas imbued with potential — shaped by materials, movement, and imagination.
HERstory

In May 2015, she reawakened her passion for art, returning to the quiet ritual of sketching and doodling while refining her mastery of watercolour and oil painting. What began as a personal creative journey evolved unexpectedly in December 2016, when an accident left a cherished piece of denim permanently stained. Rather than seeing imperfection, she saw possibility. With a brush in hand, she transformed the damaged fabric into a work of art, unknowingly laying the foundation for what would become her Dream Denim Collection in 2017.
Drawn to the organic nature of paint meeting textile, she became fascinated by the beauty of unpredictability—the way pigments move, blend, and settle into fabric, creating textures and compositions that can never be precisely replicated. Denim became more than a material; it became her canvas. Each piece is crafted through an intuitive, hands-on process that celebrates authenticity, individuality, and artistic freedom. Vibrant colours, layered textures, and expressive details emerge naturally, resulting in wearable artworks that are as distinctive as the people who wear them.
Her work challenges conventional boundaries between fashion and fine art, inviting a deeper appreciation for creativity without limits. Every hand-painted piece is designed to evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and encourage personal interpretation. Through her creations, she hopes to inspire others to embrace originality, discover beauty in the unexpected, and celebrate life’s imperfections as part of its greatest artistry. She wants people to experience STAINED by Walking her Art and Wearing her Work.
"Behind each piece of painted denim stands the dream of one hopeful and extraordinary soul."
SUSTAINABILITY & SDG ALIGNMENT
Sustainability at STAINED is embedded in process, not positioned as a trend.
By working with pre-loved garments and creating only on a bespoke basis, STAINED aligns with the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 12 — Responsible Consumption and Production
Promoting mindful creation through reuse and the extension of garment life.
SDG 13 — Climate Action
Reducing textile waste by prioritizing slow, low-impact, and intentional making.
Where applicable, the practice also reflects the values of SDG 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth, supporting ethical, independent, and human-scale creative labour.
WORKING TOGETHER
STAINED approaches each collaboration as a shared creative journey.
There are no catalogues or pre-designed outcomes — only conversation, curiosity, and trust in the process. Whether reimagining a personal garment or developing a broader concept, each collaboration is shaped with care, openness, and respect for the material.
If you feel drawn to wearable art that carries meaning, history, and intention, you are invited to begin a conversation.
